WRITER

Over the last 35 years I have had 25 books published on subjects as diverse as stigmata, Elvis, renal medicine and athletics! Many of the early books developed from radio or television documentaries I made. My most recent works include 'Apocalypse When?', a review of failed end-time prophecies; 'Remembrance Today', a look at the history and possible future of the way we commemorate those who die in armed conflict; and my first novel, 'King Clone', an unlikely satire about an Elvis religion. I have also written for The Guardian and The Independent and regularly contribute to Fortean Times and The Church Times.
